KUALA LUMPUR: A freelance photographer was charged with posting an edited picture of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak on Facebook, at a sessions court, today.
Fikriamin Adenan, 40, from Pekan, Pahang, claimed trial to posting the picture on his Facebook account "Fikri Amin" at about 7.36pm on May 17, 2016.
The charge is under Section 233(3) of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998, which is punishable by RM50,000 or a jail term, not more than one year or both, upon conviction.
