Bintulu Port accepts RM8m contract

PETALING JAYA: Bintulu Port Holdings Bhd has accepted a RM8.17 million contract for the supply, delivery, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of financial system for the group.
Bintulu Port has issued the letter of acceptance to Portrade International Sdn Bhd in Kuching, Sarawak for the contract, which was re-tendered.
The contract consists a RM6.55 million supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of financial system for the group and maintenance of the system for five years worth RM1.62 million.
The duration of the contract for the financial system is 12 months.
The rate of 0.0219% of the contract sum per day shall be imposed as liquidated and ascertained damages for non-performance of the works.
