Bodies of five family members in Segamat accident claimed for burial

SEGAMAT: The bodies of five family members who were killed in an accident in Segamat, Johor yesterday evening have been claimed by relatives from Segamat Hospital here at 10.50am this morning.
The eldest brother of the victim, Nizamuddin Dzulkarnain, 31, said his brother Muhamad Abu Dujanah Dzulkarnain, 30; and the victim's wife, Zinnirah Abdul Hamid, 28; as well as their three children, Nur Maghfirah, 6; Muhammad Abu Ajwad, 4, and Nur Alia Humairah, three-months-old would be brought to the family house in Kampung Mengkibol, Kluang near here.
He said the remains of his brother who was the second of 11 siblings would be laid to rest at the Muslim cemetery in Kampung Haji Manan, Kluang after Zuhur prayers today.
"I am calling on all to pray for my brother and his family and would like to thank all for the assistance rendered," he told reporters at Segamat Hospital.
Meanwhile, another family member, Nur Ghaziyah Athirah, 3, is now in critical condition at the same hospital after sustaining serious injuries in the incident at Km176 of Jalan Johor Bahru-Seremban here at 6.30pm yesterday. — Bernama
