The recent launch in Kuala Lumpur saw a huge turnout of parents and young children, eager to catch a glimpse of the beloved Pinkfong mascot perform both Baby Shark and Bayi Yu songs.
Observers were charmed by the sight of adorable tots mimicking popular dance moves.
Pinkfong has 3,000 tunes and stories intended for children under its belt, with the catchy Baby Shark singalong video, in particular, resonating beyond its intended target audience.
"We try to live our values through our songs and videos," said SmartStudy co-founder Ryan Lee Seungkyu at the launch. "We are really expecting more great hits coming up soon.
"With the Bayi Yu song, we hope to capture the locals, in a way the Baby Shark has become a worldwide phenomenon … and look forward to working closely with Astro to deliver the 360° experience with engaging content and merchandise for the whole family to enjoy."

According to Astro's vice president of Content Group, Agnes Rozario, Pinkfong's growing positive and educational presence is in line with the company's direction into the local children's market and led to the happy partnership.
"Astro is constantly looking to delight our customers and the partnership with Pinkfong shows our commitment to offering consumers with more choices in edutainment.
