Body of murder victim found under bridge in Klang

SHAH ALAM: The semi-nude body of a single mother, believed to have been bludgeoned, was found under an overhead bridge in front of a school in Klang this morning.
A passerby who stumbled on the body at 7.41am in front of Sekolah Kebangsaan Kampung Jawa 2 alerted the police.
A 54-year-old man has been detained to facilitate investigations into the murder.
Klang (South) police chief ACP Shamsul Amar Ramli said the 37-year-old victim had sustained bruises above the right eye and a bump on the forehead.
"The woman was probably killed elsewhere before her semi-nude body was dumped at the area," he said in a statement.
He said initial investigations revealed the victim had once been arrested for a drug-related offence and her two children, aged 10 and 15, were under the care of a sibling in Shah Alam.
So far, Shamsul Amar said three men, aged between 32 and 54, had been arrested to facilitate in the investigation under Section 302 of the Penal Code. — Bernama
