CHRISTMAS is often associated with a time of giving, encouraging people to share with those in need. It is in this spirit that Sunway Putra Mall launched its festive campaign, the “Gift of Christmas”.
BRINGING JOY AND LAUGHTER
To mark the occasion, 50 children from Destiny Starting Point Klang (DSPK) and Dialogue in the Dark (DID) Academy were invited to partake in an eventful day’s agenda which comprised:
▶ first-hand experience at Santa’s Workshop;
▶ lessons on making greeting cards, Christmas ornaments and gingerbread man cookies;
▶ a chance to mingle with 50 Miss Tourism International 2017 contestants; and
▶ a movie at the TGV cinema.
SHARING KINDNESS AND CHEER
“Through this campaign, we hope to inspire people to remember the less fortunate and lend them support, be it in contributions of cash or kind, to create a more compassionate, kind and peaceful community,” said Sunway Malls and Theme Parks CEO HC Chan. Chan also expressed his gratitude to the beauty contestants for their time with the children. “Truly, beauty is with heart and we are happy to have them join us in our journey, touching the lives of others,” he added.
GIVING GIFTS AND GOOD TIMES
Shoppers who spend a minimum of RM50 at any outlet in the mall can register their child for a fun-filled learning experience at “Santa’s Toy Factory” for free.
Spend RM350 across two receipts and get to redeem a classic wooden nutcracker, available in three designs.
There is also a chance for shoppers to win prizes worth up to RM80,000 when they spend and spin the “Magical Christmas Wheel” or download the mall’s “Augmented Reality App”and win.
A whole lot of surprises, sales, and bargains await. For more information, visit the mall’s website.
