Aeon Credit shares down despite higher Q3 earnings

PETALING JAYA: Aeon Credit Service (M) Bhd's share price fell 2.03% this morning, despite announcing higher net profit for the third quarter ended Nov 30, 2017.
At 11.59am, the stock stood at RM13.52 with 7,300 shares changing hands. It has a market capitalisation of RM3.35 billion.
During the third quarter period, its net profit rose 5.2% to RM70.55 million from RM67.05 million a year ago, on higher interest income, profit revenue and finance.
Its revenue jumped 11.4% to RM312.35 million compared with RM280.35 million in the previous year's corresponding quarter.
