Tour guide fined RM5,000 for threatening, flashing at employer

KUALA LUMPUR: A tour guide who threatened his female employer with murder and exposed himself to the woman was fined a total of RM5,000 by the Magistrate's Court here today for the offence.
Magistrate Mahyudin Mohmad Som meted out the fine on S. Prakash, 51, who pleaded guilty to both charges.
He was fined RM2,000, in default three months' jail, on the charge for criminal intimidation and RM3,000, in default four months' jail, for making a gesture that was intended to insult the modesty of the woman.
Both the offences were committed at the hostel room of Hotel Buddys, Jalan Sultan Ismail, at 6 am last Dec 20.
Prakash, who was unrepresented, failed to pay the fine.
