Gold shop at hypermarket in Rawang robbed

    KUALA LUMPUR: Four men, armed with a pistol, machete and hammer fled with 10 trays of jewellery, worth RM1.5 million, in a robbery at a gold shop in a hyper market in Rawang near here yesterday.
    Gombak deputy police chief Supt Tey Kong Seng said the four robbers, all in crash helmet and dressed in black, entered the shop, which was on the first floor of the hyper market at about 3pm.
    Two of their accomplices waited at the car park, he said in a statement today.
    He said no one was harmed in the incident and the police were tracking down the suspects. — Bernama
