Latest Toyo rubbers introduced

TOYO Tyre Sales and Marketing Malaysia Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Toyo Tire & Rubber Co Ltd, has released two new tyres into the market – Proxes CF2 and Proxes CF2 SUV.
The former was created with the latest materials, structures and tread pattern design in order to guarantee a high level of safety, durability, savings, and comfort. It benefits from an improved tyre construction and a new full-silica tread compound, which results in a longer life, better wet performance and lower fuel consumption. “Proxes CF2 is the right choice for drivers looking for a high performing and safe tyre for medium and high powered cars,” the company says.
The sizes available for the CF2, plus their respective load speed index (in brackets) are: 205/55 R16 (94V XL), 215/60 R16 (95H), 215/55 R16 (93W), 185/60 R16 (86H), 205/55 R17 (95V XL), 205/50 R17 (93W XL), 205/45 R17 (88V XL), 215/55 R17 (94W), 215/50 R17 (95V XL), 215/40 R17 (87V XL), 225/50 R17 (98V XL), 225/45 R17 (91W), 235/45 R17 (94V) and 225/60 R18 (100W).
The Proxes CF2 SUV, on the hand, was developed to complement the characteristics of smaller crossover and compact SUV cars. With a new silica tread compound, it offers shorter wet braking and improved fuel economy.
Lightweight construction, combined with the new compound provides longer tyre life make it the smart choice for SUVs.
The sizes available for the CF2 SUV, plus their respective load speed index (in brackets) are: 225/65 R17 (106V XL), 225/60 R17 (99H), 215/50 R18 (92V), 225/55 R18 (98V), 235/55 R18 (100V) and 225/55 R19 (99V).
