Main suspects in brutal JB killing from 760 Gang

JOHOR BARU: The main suspects in the Johor Baru brutal killing are believed to be from a criminal group known as 760 Gang.
A 22-year-old male suspect, who is said to be from the gang, was bought to the magistrate's court here today for his remand to be extended by seven days until Jan 4.
Sources said the 22-year-old suspect had contacted the main suspect before the incident.
He was arrested with six others in Singapore on Dec 20. The others were not taken to the court for an extension of their remand today.
Three other suspects are still under remand. Their remand date will expire on Dec 30, Jan 2 and Jan 4. Police have nabbed 15 suspects so far.
The three main suspects in this case are still at large, Johor police chief Datuk Mohd Khalil Kader Mohd said, without elaborating.
A video footage of the gruesome murder went online on Dec 17. The victim, known as Tan Aik Chai, also a gang member with a string of criminal records, died at the petrol station in Taman Pelangi, here around 7.30pm.
