First series of ‘Pulsar Power’ by Modenas, Bajaj

MODENAS Malaysia and Bajaj Auto Limited recently organised the first-ever dedicated event called “Pulsar Power”, a motorsports ride-and-learn programme focusing on providing the ultimate riding experience for the Pulsar range, the RS200 and the NS200. The event was aimed at enabling the public to engage, interact and experience test riding both models.

Held at the Speedway PLUS Circuit in USJ Subang Jaya, the event was supported by the Modenas Pulsar Owners Club (MPOC) which organised a convoy from Modenas’ headquarters in Glenmarie, Shah Alam, to the event venue.

Other activities also included a “time attack”, riding course and the “Pulsar Pro Ride Lap” with professional riders who gave riding tips. Besides that, guests also stood a chance to win a brand-new Modenas Pulsar NS200.

Modenas stated that since the Pulsar was launched in May last year, the series has gained significant interest in the market and is high in demand. While the Pulsars are gaining popularity, the majority of Malaysian motorcyclists are still unaware of the power and appeal that a Modenas Pulsar has to offer. “As a matter of fact, the Pulsar models are currently the most powerful motorcycles in the 150-200cc segment, and the purpose of the Pulsar Power event was to allow owners, fans and potential owners the chance to experience the dynamism of the Pulsar brand.”

The Pulsar models are among the most popular motorcycle models currently in the global market with over 10 million models sold in 36 countries. Of these 26 countries, the Pulsar is number one in 13 countries, and second in the remaining countries.

The collaboration between Modenas and Bajaj is already bearing positive results with the Pulsar models quickly becoming among the best-selling models in Malaysia. Bajaj is among the biggest motorcycle manufacturer in the world, and owns and builds KTM models in India and distributes some of those models regionally as well. With the collaboration between the two companies set to go into high gear, the Malaysian public will continue to be rewarded with impressive motorcycles that balance power and functionality.
