Caely says actively exploring avenues to enhance shareholders value after UMA query

    PETALING JAYA: Caely Holdings Bhd, which was queried by Bursa Malaysia yesterday, said it has been actively exploring avenues to enhance its shareholders value.
    "In this regard, the company is considering seeking professional advice to deliberate various options available to the company. However at this juncture, nothing has been confirmed or materialised," the lingerie firm said in response to an unusual market activity (UMA) query.
    Caely said it will make the necessary announcement in the event that a corporate exercise is proposed and deliberated by the board of directors.
    At 3pm, the stock fell 6 sen or 5.6% to RM1.02 after it hit limit up yesterday. A total of 11.62 million shares were traded.
    Despite reporting a plunge of 95% to RM187,000 for its six-month net profit ended September 30, 2017, its share price has doubled in the past one month.
