M'sia an example in combating terrorism through moderation

PUTRAJAYA: Rabitah Al-Alami Al-Islami (Muslim World League) Secretary-General Dr Muhammad Abdul Kareem Al-Issa is impressed with Malaysia's efforts in combating terrorism.
He said Malaysia was indeed, a distinct example to the Muslim world, especially through its moderate approach in ensuring peace and prosperity in the country.
"Malaysia and the Muslim World League are cooperating in the same way and at the same level for the banishment of terrorism and to ensure that we can live in peace and harmony," he told a press conference after the Putrajaya International Security Dialogue (PISD) 2018 closing ceremony here today.
Rabitah Al-Alami Al-lslami, a non-governmental organisation based in Saudi Arabia was the co-organiser of PISD 2018, which attracted more than 1,000 participants form 14 countries, including non-Muslim countries. — Bernama
