Woman engrossed with handphone loses leg in lift mishap (Video)

The woman in China didn't notice the lift going up as she walked into it looking at her phone.
A WOMAN had her leg severed after it was trapped between the doors of a lift that closed on her limb. She was engrossed with her handphone when she entered the lift and didn't realise that the doors were closing on her.
A recently released CCTV footage showed the lift going up for three floors before stopping. It has been confirmed that the incident happened on 21 June, 2017 in Conch Building in Zhongshan West Road of Shanghai.
She failed to get her leg out and the lift had crushed her right lower leg. Another woman who was more observant escaped unhurt as she did not walk in the lift.
