MAHB rises 3.75% despite lower passenger traffic growth forecast for 2018

    PETALING JAYA: Shares of Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) gained 33 sen or 3.75% despite seeing a slower passenger traffic growth this year.
    At 11.40am, the stock stood at RM9.13 on some 1.53 million shares done. It has a market capitalisation of RM15.13 billion.
    MAHB managing director Datuk Badlisham Ghazali said at a media briefing last Friday that the group is expecting its passenger traffic growth to ease from 8.5% in 2017 to 6.3% in 2018.
    Meanwhile, it is still on the lookout for a partner for its 100%-owned Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen International Airport.
