A flavoursome 2018

MAKING its debut is the Starbucks Chestnut Mont Blanc Latte. Inspired by its decadent namesake, the drink is a blend of Starbucks’ Signature Espresso with velvety steamed milk and delectable chestnut Irish cream sauce. And when topped with espresso whipped cream and a drizzle of chestnut Irish cream, the concoction is one that leaves you satiated and satisfied.
Some things are too good to be left behind, which is why the Starbucks Salted Caramel Mocha Crumble makes its return to stores this year. Premium espresso is fused with mocha sauce and toffee nut syrup, topped with whipped cream and a blend of turbinado sugar and sea salt.
Both drinks are priced from RM17.50 and are already available at all outlets.
As the time for reunions draws near, bond over cups of masterfully brewed coffee with Starbucks’ whole beans roast:
▶ South of the Clouds (RM40)
This medium roast is made from rare beans grown in Yunnan, China and offers amild, crisp acidity that is balancedwith herbal flavours.
▶ Guatemala Casi Cielo (RM40)
Translated from Spanish, “Almost Heaven” (Casi Cielo) is an exquisite single origin coffee that is grown in the lush Antigua region of Guatemala. The coffee has a floral aroma with lemony acidity, a rich flavour and smooth body, finished with hints of dark cocoa.
▶ Guatemala Huehuetenango (RM45)
A new addition to the line-up, the Guatemala Huehuetenango hails from the highest and driest coffee-growing region in Guatemala. The beans brew a cuppa that has mild acidity which is balanced out by its delightful dark chocolate notes and dried-fruit finish.
Quite like how home furniture is switched out as the Lunar New Year draws near, Starbucks Malaysia has brought in a new range of festive merchandise, apt for the new year celebration.

Simple but elegant, the double-walled tumbler features a floral paper print with a brushed finish. Drinks are kept warm with its vacuum-sealed teeter-totter lid.

Bright, pastel colours go around the body of this double-walled tumbler. Attached to its silicone lid is an adorable heart charm to complete the look.

For something that is less on the pink side, this minimalistic icy blue design gives off an iridescent glow that sets it apart from other normal tumblers. Comes with a flat stainless steel clad lid and double-wall construction.
From Jan 16, Starbucks card collectors can look forward to the arrival of the Lunar New Year 2018 card design. At a glance, the card depicts yin and yang but is instead, a clever use of shapes that represent this year’s Chinese zodiac.
