UniSZA signs MoU with AIT, Ireland

KUALA TERENGGANU: Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA) has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Anthlone Institute of Technology (AIT) of Ireland for increased joint educational activities between the two countries.
UniSZA vice-chancellor Profesor Datuk Dr Ahmad Zubaidi Abdul Latiff said this included student-exchange programmes between the two tertiary institutions as well as exchange of teaching staff and researches.
“At the same time, there will be exchanges of information in academic and publication areas as well as joint efforts in international conferences.
“There will also be joint research in innovative and technology projects to produce products of higher quality,” he said in a statement today.
The signing ceremony of the memorandum-of-understanding between UniSZA and AIT was held at Istana Hotel, Kuala Lumpur recently.
UniSZA was represented by its vice-chancellor while AIT by its president Professor Ciaran O Cathain, while the signing ceremony was witnessed by head of UniSZA International Centre, Cornelius Anuar Abdullah Mc Afee. — Bernama
