KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Barisan Nasional (BN) Youth and Sabah Puteri Umno will be organising a colloquium on Jan 17 for Sabah BN Youth leaders to draw up proposals for possible inclusion in the BN manifesto for the coming 14th general election (GE14).
Youth Manifesto Colloquium secretariat head, Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali said the colloquium would be a continuation of the Sabah BN Youth interaction series with the younger generation at various levels to bring their aspirations to the party leaders and government.
"Among the principles to be formulated at the colloquium are ideas submitted by Sabah youths via the 2050 National Transformation Dialogue series led by Sabah BN Youth chairman, Yamani Hafez Musa.
"Apart from that, we will also gather all views provided by youths via social media," he told reporters here today.
Armizan said 50 Youth leaders from all BN components in Sabah would attend the one-day programme and all proposals received would be studied before being forwarded to the party leadership to be part of the BN manifesto for the general election. — Bernama
