Ringgit breaks 3.95 level against US dollar

PETALING JAYA: The ringgit continued to strengthen this morning, breaking the 3.95 level to a high of 3.9435 against US dollar.
At 11.15am, the ringgit traded at 3.9490 to the greenback.
MIDF Research said in a research today that it foresees a further upside for the ringgit with the next target level at 3.90.
"Positive macroeconomics outlook in addition to rising crude prices and market expectation of Bank Negara rate moves will further push the ringgit in the near term," it noted.
