KUALA LUMPUR: Two non-governmental organisations have lodged police reports following the death of a teenager who was struck by an office chair believed to have been hurled from the upper floor of the Seri Pantai PPR flat in Pantai Dalam here on Monday.
The Pertubuhan Martabat Jalilan Muhibbah Malaysia (MJMM) and the Ikatan Rakyat Insan Muslim Malaysia (IRIMM) are of the view that the irresponsible individual's action was unforgivable.
IRIMM president Amir Amsaa Alla Pitchay urged that stern action be taken against the perpetrator.
"This is no more just about littering problems as it has caused the death of innocent people," he told reporters after lodging a report at the Sri Petaling police station here today.
In the 8.10pm incident on Monday, S. Sathiswaran, 15, was killed on the spot due to severe head injuries.
The police have classified the case as murder.
Meanwhile, Kuala Lumpur CID chief, SAC Rusdi Mohd Isa said no arrest had been made. — Bernama
