Dental technician found dead in staff quarters

PORT DICKSON: The body of a dental technician from the Port Dickson Health Clinic was found on the fourth floor of the Health Clinic Staff Quarters in Lukut, early today.
Port Dickson District Police chief Supt Zainudin Ahmad said the body of Mahussin Rahim, 28, was found by his friend at about 8.30 am.
"The friend went to the quarters after finding Mahussin absent from work since Friday. The body of the victim, believed to have died about 72 hours prior, was found lying on a mattress in the room.
"An investigation at the quarters revealed that Mahussin's wallet, mobile phone and car keys were missing, while his motorcycle and helmet were also nowhere to be found," he told reporters here, today.
He said the police would investigate the incident from all angles, and for the time being, the case was classified as sudden death.
Zainudin added that the body was taken to the Port Dickson Hospital for post-mortem. — Bernama
