PA Resources most active, up 4.35% following RM600m contract win

PETALING JAYA: PA Resources Bhd's share price rose half a sen or 4.35% to 12 sen at 11.19am, with 129.4 million shares changing hands, making it the top most active counter this morning.
Yesterday, the group announced that it had secured a RM600 million contract from US-based First Solar Inc and its manufacturing units in Malaysia and Vietnam to supply certain materials and other goods for the production of solar photovoltaic modules.
The three-year contract is expected to contribute positively to the group's earnings and net assets for the current and future financial years.
