Good outcome for Goodday

IMAGINE seeing milkmen in this day and age moving through modern Klang Valley distributing milk. As part of a campaign to spread the natural goodness of milk and to hand out packets of the nutritious dairy product, Goodday Milk did exactly that.
A total of 50 "milkmen" disbursed 34,560 packets of Goodday Milk during the brand's Goodday Milk Fest 2017 campaign.
This marked the first and largest milk sampling activation exercise in Malaysia, which won the brand recognition in the Malaysia Book of Records for its feat – 'Most Number of Milkmen on Motorcycles for Milk Delivery'.
The concept of having 50 milkmen riding their motorcycles together is one that resonates with many Malaysians, hitting all the right nostalgic notes, from back when milk was delivered door-to-door.
Dressed in eye-catching attire, the milkmen rode their motorcycles through areas in Klang Valley with the highest population, giving away packets of milk as part of Goodday Milk's seven-day campaign aimed at encouraging the public to drink milk and try the different varieties it carries.
"We have always been a strong advocate of milk as it contains plenty of nutrients that contribute towards better health. In addition to the distribution of samples, it was important to educate members of the public in an engaging manner about the goodness contained within each carton of Goodday Milk," said Etika Sdn Bhd marketing vice-president Santharuban T. Sundaram.
"Being recognised for our efforts and receiving this certificate from Malaysia Book of Records is a very proud moment for all of us here. I am honoured that the Malaysia Book of Records has acknowledged our work by giving us this award".
It was a moment of delight and dignity for employees at Etika who were present to receive the Malaysia Book of Records certificate at Etika's office. Present at the event were Etika senior brand manager Cheong May Yeen and Malaysia Books of Records senior research journalist Nurasyikin Ramli, among others.
Goodday Milk recently added two new variants of milk to its UHT range - Green Tea and Honey. In all, the brand carries both pasteurised and UHT milk, of which the latter offers six healthy and delicious flavours. For more information, visit www.facebook.com/gooddaymilkmalaysia
