Prestariang shares up on contract extension

    PETALING JAYA: Shares of Prestariang Bhd rose six sen or 3.47% this morning, after its unit bagged a three-year contract extension worth RM222.6 million from the Ministry of Finance.
    At 10.41am, the stock stood at RM1.79 with 303,300 shares changing hands, giving it a market capitalisation of RM834.4 million.
    The contract extension is for the supply of Microsoft software licences, products and services under MLA 3.0 to all government agencies and Institut Latihan Awam (Public Training Institute) in Malaysia.
    The extension of contract is expected to contribute positively to the group's future earnings, net tangible assets and gearing.
