Seremban residents to experience water disruption on Feb 6

SEREMBAN: Syarikat Air Negeri Sembilan Sdn Bhd (SAINS) said some areas in Seremban district will experience a 24-hour water disruption from 9am on Feb 6 due to a pipeline connection and realignment work.
Its Public Relations Division head, Norzita Ismail said the pipeline works, which are expected to be completed by 9am the next day (Feb 7), are among efforts to improve the water supply system for the benefit of the consumers.
Among the affected areas are; Pantai, Sikamat, Taman Sri Pulai, Taman Desa Manggis, Taman Setia Kasih, Jalan Tuanku Kursiah, Taman Desa Beringin, Taman Indah, Taman Suliana, Taman Sri Inai,Taman Jujur, Taman Pulau Impian, Taman Megaway, Taman Sri Penaga, Taman Mulai, Taman Bukit Coral, Taman Desa Kiara, Kg Baru Sikamat, Taman Bukit Nibong, Rumah Rakyat Sikamat, Desa Permai Sikamat, Taman Pewira, Taman Sri Pandan, Taman Temiang Jaya, Taman Indah Sikamat, Taman Rashidah Indah and Desa Jati Nilai.
Norzita said the water supply is expected to return in stages and areas on high ground are expected to experience a longer disruption.
"If the water disruption exceeds 24 hours, the water would be supplied using tankers and static tanks," she said in a statement today.
