SINGAPORE: The Singapore Police Force (SPF) and the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) are conducting a two-hour joint exercise on Feb 1 from 2am at Woodlands Checkpoint.
To facilitate the exercise, parts of the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE), Woodlands Avenue 3, Woodlands Road, Woodlands Crossing, Woodlands Centre Road and Admiralty Road West may be closed intermittently between 2am to 4am.
"Members of the public should expect delays when travelling to Woodlands Checkpoint and are advised to use Tuas Checkpoint instead during the period of the exercise," said SPF in its Facebook status today.
During the exercise, SPF said access would only be granted to police, emergency and authorised vehicles.
Police officers would be deployed at the affected junctions to assist and direct motorists, it added. — Bernama
