Brazen act of errant motorist caught on camera

BE prepared for the consequences of your action. That pretty much sums up an incident involving three men who broke a clamp on the wheel of their Proton Wira in Jalan Lumut on Monday.
Ignoring onlookers, their act was caught on video and went viral on social media late Tuesday.
In the three-minute video, one of the men was spotted taking out a sledgehammer to break the clamp.
The video was uploaded by Sukan Star TV which received almost 190,000 views and 900 shares on Facebook.

Meanwhile, Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) said they will leave the matter to the police for further investigations.
Its consultant, Datuk Nik Haidi Nik Mohamed said details on the location and registration number of the car have also been included in the police report.
"We were lucky that we have identified the plate number through the video which went viral on social media.
"We have handed this matter over to the police to take further action," he said
