KL Fight: Muay Thai at Dataran Merdeka

BANGKOK: Something big will be happening at Dataran Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur on May 5.
It is the "KL Fight", a world class Muay Thai event that will be bringing in big names in the sport and expected to draw in over 10,000 fans.
"Besides showcasing top names, there will also be cultural and entertainment elements so that everyone can have a good time even if they are not great fans of the sport," "KL Fight" chief executive officer Mohd Faizul Mat Alewi told Bernama here recently.
The bouts will be held in the open air format and besides cultural and entertainment shows, food trucks will also be available for meals and drinks.
Mohd Faizul said "KL Fight" had the full support of the Federal Territory Sports Council and Raja Boxing, a Thai company famous for manufacturing Muay Thai sporting goods and organising international Muay Thai events.
