'Avant-garde' X-Trail, the X-Tremer, introduced

EDARAN Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd (ETCM) today launched the new Nissan X-Trail X-Tremer, “the avant-garde X-Trail”.
The X-Trail X-Tremer now comes with new two-tone passion red with blacked-out componentry including a distinctive black silhouette roof, black roof rails, black rear spoiler, black door mirrors and gloss black five-spoke 17-inch alloy wheels. Enhanced with a bold front X-Face cladding for an even stronger identity, the X-Trail X-Tremer also comes with new chrome rear bumper protector and luxurious black Nappa leather seats that accentuate its sophistication.
“ETCM and Nissan are always pushing the boundaries of innovation to power you through life’s adventures. The new X-Trail X-Tremer is for customers wanting a more sophisticated Japanese SUV,” said ETCM sales and marketing director, Christopher Tan.
ETCM stated that all X-Trail (T32 model) offer an unparalleled experience and an improved way of driving thanks to the state-of-the-art Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies, which includes an Intelligent Around View Monitor that provides 360-degree perspective for easier parking and navigation, Intelligent Ride Control that moderates any pitching motion experienced by drivers on bumpy roads by controlling engine torque and brakes to improve ride comfort, and Intelligent Engine Brake system that adjusts the amount of engine braking to reduce speed when cornering or stopping.
“The Intelligent Trace Control – a Nissan-first – automatically applies small amounts of braking to individual wheels to reduce understeer, as well as the Intelligent 4x4 System (4x4-i), that offers a choice between permanent 2WD mode, Auto Mode (2WD and 4WD modes) or Lock Mode (permanent 4WD), for extreme driving pleasure and incredible safety even on imperfect roads.
The X-Trail was awarded with an impressive five-star safety rating in the Asean New Car Assessment Programme (NCAP) and is well appreciated for its performance, premium quality and class-leading safety.
The X-Trail X-Tremer is *priced at RM141,450 (2.0L 2WD) and RM163,650 (2.5L 4x4-i) and comes with five-year, unlimited mileage warranty; whilst the accessories that are factory-fitted come with a three-year or 100,000km warranty (whichever comes first).

Existing owners of the X-Trail (Comfort/ Aero Edition/ Premium Impul variants) who are interested to enhance their X-Trail may also opt for individual X-Tremer accessories.
