Missing teenagers found

LANGKAWI: Five teenagers reported missing at Bukit Lembu, Kedawang near Kuah yesterday evening, were found safe today.
Langkawi district deputy police chief DSP Mahani Mohamed said the teenagers aged between 17 and 20 years-old were found by a search and rescue (SAR) team at about 4am.
"They were found in the forest area at the Bukit Malut Dam in good and healthy condition," she said in a statement to the media today.
Mahani said the SAR effort comprised of Police, Civil Defense Force (APM) and the Langkawi Fire and Rescue Department.
She said flare guns were also used to illuminate the area during the SAR effort.
theSun also learnt that the teenagers have been returned to their respective families.
Meanwhile, Kedah Fire and Rescue public relations officer Mohamad Mustakim Mukhtar said the five teenagers were exhausted when they were found by SAR team.
He said the department was alerted to their disappearance at 10.52pm by family members after they failed to return home after a fishing trip.
"Six firemen with two engines from Persiaran Putera station were dispatched to the scene assist in the SAR mission," he said.
