MACC extends DID director's remand

ALOR STAR: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission has extended the remand on a Drainage and Irrigation Department (DID) director for another six days from tomorrow, to assist investigations into a corruption and power abuse case.
The remand order on the man aged 60, was issued by Alor Star Lower Court senior assistant registrar Nor Azah Idris.
Meanwhile, two company owners aged 39 and 50, who were remanded with the director have been released on MACC deposited bail of RM15,000 with one surety each.
The three men were detained on Jan 29 at a MACC office. — Bernama
