Najib to announce EPF 2017 dividend rate

PETALING JAYA: The 2017 dividend rate for Employees Provident Fund (EPF) members will be announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak on Sunday.
A news portal today reported Malaysian Trades Union Congress (MTUC) president Abdul Halim Mansor as saying this today. Halim is a member of the EPF board.
The dividend announcement will be the first by Najib since he took over as finance minister in 2008.
The EPF paid a 5.7% dividend for 2016, down from 6.40% in 2015 and 6.75% in 2014.
