3 Kuala Kangsar JPJ vehicles destroyed in fire, investigations underway

KUALA KANGSAR: Three vehicles belonging to the Road Transport Department (JPJ) and two other cars were destroyed in a fire at the parking lot at Jambatan Timbang JPJ here, early today.
Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Operations chief Aziz Md Nor said the incident happened at 2.36 am.
"The JPJ vehicles were two Toyota Fortuner and a Ford Ranger; the other two were Volvo. We took 15 minutes to control the blaze. The operation ended at 3.46 am," he said in a statement here today.
He said there were no casualties, and the cause was being investigated. — Bernama
