KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak wished national figure skater Julian Yee Zhi-Jie and snow skiing athlete Jeffrey Webb who will be competing in the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea from Feb 9 to 25 the best of luck.
"Good luck to Julian Yee and Jeffrey Web who will be competing in the #WinterOlympics 2018. I am confident that they will bring glory to the country!" Najib said in his Twitter entry.
Julian, 20, booked a berth in the prestigious sport after finishing sixth in the CS Neberhorn Championship Trophy in Germany in September last year.
Meanwhile, Jeffrey, 19, who is now based in the United States, will be competing in the 'alpine skiing' event at the championship. — Bernama
