King attends Meeting of Conference of Rulers

KUALA LUMPUR: The Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Muhammad V, today attended the 248th Meeting of the Conference of Rulers, on the second day, at Istana Negara.
His Majesty was accompanied by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak.
The meeting, which began yesterday, was chaired by the Yang Dipertuan Besar of Negri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz Almarhum Tuanku Munawir, and attended by all the Malay Rulers.
Pahang was represented by the Regent of Pahang, Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah, and Johor by the Tunku Temenggong of Johor, Tunku Idris Iskandar Sultan Ibrahim.
The Malay Rulers and the Yang Dipertuan Negri of Penang, Sarawak, Sabah and Malacca were accompanied by the respective Mentri Besar and chief ministers at the meeting. — Bernama
