Bumi Armada's executive director resigns

    PETALING JAYA: Bumi Armada Bhd announced that its executive director and head of offshore marine services Shaharul Rezza Hassan will resign from his roles effective Feb 28, 2018.
    In Bursa Malaysia filing, the offshore energy facilities and services provider said Rezza, who has joined the group in September 2005, had requested an early release to pursue other interests outside the group.
    "I would like to thank Rezza for his contributions over the last 13 years and his dedication to grow Bumi Armada to what it is today. I would like to wish Rezza all the best in his future endeavours," Bumi Armada chairman Tunku Ali Redhauddin ibni Tuanku Muhriz said.
    The group has identified an internal successor, Megat Zariman Abdul Rahim to take over the role.
    Prior to joining the group in April 2013, Megat spent nearly 22 years at Schlumberger Ltd covering several different roles in the organisation, including global account director and new business development director.
