Nada uncovers entertainment centre selling drug-laced fruit juice

IPOH: The National Anti-Drug Agency (Nada) has uncovered an entertainment centre in Jalan Medan here which sold fruit juices laced with methamphetamine.
Nada enforcement chief assistant director Zolkifli Mohd Dom said 22 people, including five workers were detained after testing positive for drugs in a two-hour raid, beginning 3.30am.
He said the suspects claimed to have drunk mango juice which were served to them.
"Some of them claimed they were aware of drugs in the mango juice, while others said they in the dark," he told reporters at a press conference here today.
The raid involved 39 Nada personnel and three policemen from the Ipoh Narcotics Department. — Bernama
