PETALING JAYA: National shuttler Datuk Lee Chong Wei has dismissed allegations of him being involved in a viral sex video with an unknown woman.
Lee said the man in the video did not even resemble him.
"That is not me. The person does not even look like me," he said, adding that he was unsure of the motive behind the spread of the video.
The badminton star said he would be lodging a police report as the matter had gone out of hand.
He also did not dismiss the possibility that the video was purposely spread by irresponsible parties to damage his reputation.
He said such an attempt was even more evident as the premier of his biopic "Lee Chong Wei: Rise of the Legend" is just next month.
Lee said he had received many queries from people who had asked him to confirm whether he was the man caught on camera in the 11-minute video.
