Tomei shares rise 6.67% on higher Q4 earnings

PETALING JAYA: Tomei Consolidated Bhd's share price rose four and a half sen or 6.67% this morning, after it reported a higher net profit for the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2017.
At 11.01am, the stock stood at 72 sen with 483,700 million shares changing hands. It has a market capitalisation of RM98.4 million.
Tomei's net profit surged to RM4.4 million during the quarter, from RM226,000 a year ago, driven by the retail segment and lower taxation.
It has also proposed to declare a first and final dividend of one sen per share.
