Water supply disruption, low water pressure in Shah Alam, Klang

KUALA LUMPUR: Several areas in Shah Alam and Klang are experiencing temporary water supply disruption and low water pressure.
Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas) in a statement said the areas involved were Section 16 to 20 as well as Section 23 to 25 in Shah Alam and Kampung Jawa, Padang Jawa, Taman Alam Shah, Kampung Teluk Menegun, Sungau Rasah, Bukit Kuda and Jalan Mohd Sidin in Klang.
"Monitoring on the water supply system in the past two weeks found the level in the storage ponds are falling due to heavy demand for water.
"Continuous monitoring and actions are being taken to reduce the impact of disruption on customers," the statement said. — Bernama
