Protasco-linked firm wins Sarawak roads deal

PETALING JAYA: Protasco Bhd today said a 30% owned associate DAL HCM Sdn Bhd has entered into a concession agreement with the federal government for the maintenance of federal roads in Sarawak for an undisclosed sum.
DAL HCM is granted the right to undertake routine maintenance, periodic maintenance, emergency works and all other activities for 751km of roads or any other length as determined by the government from time to time within Sarawak, for 10 years from Sept 1, 2018.
DAL HCM is 30% owned by Protasco subsidiary HCM Engineering Sdn Bhd and 70% by D.A.L. Keluarga Realty Sdn Bhd.
