Protasco rises 2.97% after associate company bags concession agreement

    PETALING JAYA: Protasco Bhd‘s share price rose 2.97% or 3 sen to RM1.04 this morning, on news of its 30% owned associate company DAL HCM Sdn Bhd bagging a concession agreement from the federal government for the maintenance of federal roads in Sarawak.
    Some 184,700 shares were traded.
    DAL HCM was granted the right to undertake routine maintenance, periodic maintenance, emergency works and all other activities for 751km of roads or any other length as determined by the government from time to time within Sarawak, for 10 years from Sept 1, 2018--for an undisclosed sum.
    DAL HCM is 30% owned by Protasco subsidiary HCM Engineering Sdn Bhd and 70% by D.A.L. Keluarga Realty Sdn Bhd.
