Give chance to MCA to serve: Mohamad Hasan

SEREMBAN: The Chinese community in Negri Sembilan has been asked to give a chance to MCA to serve and represent them by giving their mandate to the party's candidates in the 14th general election (GE14).
Mentri Besar and Negri Sembilan Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan said he was confident that the Negri Sembilan MCA under the leadership of Datuk Seri Lim Chin Fui was capable of meeting the aspirations and demands of the Chinese community.
"In Negri Sembilan, we have a long-term mission and vision, that is up to the year 2045, and I hope the people will continue giving us their mandate.
"MCA has leaders like Lim and (Datuk) Chong Sin Woon (National MCA Youth chief) and they are young leaders and it will be a major loss for the Chinese community if they did not give them a chance to lead."
Mohamad said this in his speech at the Chinese New Year celebration organised by Negri Sembilan MCA at the Seremban Municipal Council Hall here today, which was also attended by Lim and Chong.
Meanwhile, Lim in his speech said that MCA was working hard to reach out to and convince the Chinese community to return their support to MCA in the next general election.
"We hope we will be given the opportunity and we will work hard to gain more votes," he added. — Bernama
