Najib on GE14 date

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak has asked Malaysians when do they want the general election to be.
"When? When do you want it?" Najib said when asked by the media on the election date.
Speculation has been rife that Parliament would be dissolved after the Chinese New Year.
According to a letter by Dewan Rakyat secretary Roosme Hamzah, the next Parliament sitting is scheduled to start on March 5.
Earlier this month Najib hinted that the 14th general election would be held before Hari Raya Aidiladha which falls in August.
The current term of Parliament expires on June 24 and GE14 must be held within 60 days after that date.
