Whatever little that was left of an ill woman's appetite was totally destroyed after she found live lizards in the porridge she cooked. Based on a Facebook post by Sen Lamb which has gone viral, the victim documented her experience on how she found not one, not two, but three lizards in the seafood porridge that she cooked.
The video showed how she used her bare hands to fish them out alive and threw them away.
"So frustrated! I've been feeling dizzy and feverish so I cooked a pot of seafood porridge to eat. After so much hard work, I only managed to eat one bowl before the whole pot was contaminated by the lizard.
"One climbed into the pot and just 10 minutes later, I found another one! You guys are lucky I don't kill and just released you outside. Please don't come anymore, I am very hungry," she lamented.
Reacting to the viral post, netizens were puzzled at the appearance of so many lizards also how they managed to get inside.
"I left the pot uncovered because when my porridge finished cooking, it was too hot so I thought of letting it cool down a little," she explained.
"Five minutes later, the first lizard went in. Since the porridge had to be thrown away, I left it uncovered. Not long after that, the second one appeared. I threw it away, and swept the floor which was when the third one jumped in the pot!"
In a separate incident Facebook user, Hasler Hoho was forced to pull out a tiny but long lizard which was in his favourite bubble tea.
While sipping halfway through, I was feeling weird in my mouth with my tongue when it felt like long jelly.
Pearl should be round in shape, so I took it out with my finger and it happened to be a fully formed baby lizard!" said Hasler in the viral post with over 4,500 shares at the point of writing.
The situation got worse when he realised the lizard had a missing tail.
Traumatised by the experience he later revealed that he purchased the cup of bubble tea at Bukit Jalil.
He lodged a complaint with the popular bubble tea company and said that the headquarters and the outlet were aware of the issue.
One of Hasler's friends advised him to take the issue to the court and report the incident to the Ministry of Health. The friend claimed that it is a threat to public health and the issue should be taken seriously.
To that, Hasler said he had already appointed a lawyer to handle the matter.
