PARIT BUNTAR: The Works Ministry expects to complete demolition works on the Batu Tiga toll plaza in Shah Alam by March 28.
Minister, Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof said the ministry was informed by PLUS Malaysia Berhad the transfer process of the assets involving toll equipment and signage, among others, was currently carried out before the demolition began.
"PLUS is in the process of transferring its assets from the area and upon completion, the demolition of the physical structure will be carried out.
"We have also been informed that the traffic management programmes will be carried out to ensure that traffic flow is not disrupted during the demolition work," he told a press conference after officiating the ground- breaking ceremony of the Parit Buntar Hospital here today.
The RM136.7 million four-storey hospital which would benefit more than 120,000 people would be completed by the end of December 2020, said Fadillah.
He added the construction of the hospital on a 5.2ha piece of land would use the building information modelling (BIM) technology to facilitate the information management of the construction process while works were carried out. — Bernama
