KUALA LUMPUR: The bodies of two victims found in Sungai Gasi that were brought to the Sungai Buloh Hospital had been identified by family members and were now undergoing post mortem process.
According to a police officer investigating the case at the scene, the first body that was found yesterday was that of a 38-year-old Indonesian man, while the second was a Malaysian boy, aged 13.
"We are continuing with the search for other victims , including the parents of the 13-year-old boy. The father is an Indonesian with permanent resident status. The boy's body was identified by his uncle," he told Bernama when met at the hospital today.
Five people are missing, and feared drowned, while fishing at a river near the Sungai Buloh Camp yesterday.
However, police did not discount the possibility that there would be more victims as initial information indicated that there were other groups of anglers in the area at that time.
A spokesman at the Sungai Buloh Fire and Rescue Station said the station received a distress call on the incident at 5.42 pm. — Bernama
