Action will be taken for abusing YBUDR food boxes

IPOH: The state government will take firm action against those who abuse the distribution of the Yayasan Bina Upaya Darul Ridzuan (YBUDR) food aid.
Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir said the action was shameful and would be regarded as deliberately tarnishing the image of the state government.
"Let me know if anybody abuses the aid and I will take action. The aid is meant only for the less fortunate," he said at a programme which was attended by more than 200 people at the Buntong 5 Sri Desa Rishah Multi-Purpose Hall here today.
At the event, 180 YBUDR food aid boxes were distributed to the needy. A total of RM15,300 in study aid was also given out to 82 recipients from low income families. — Bernama
