MAHB donates sports equipment, hands over “conducive” classrooms to school

SHAH ALAM: Students of Sekolah Kebangsaan Subang had a fun day out of their classrooms today when they were given the chance to try their hands at archery in a programme organised by Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB).

The archery equipment, along with rugby sports equipment, were donated by MAHB to the school as part of its CSR project, dubbed the Airport@Community.

MAHB, led by its managing director Datuk Badlisham Ghazali, also handed over 10 "Kelas Ceria Malaysia Airports" classrooms to the school.

These classrooms are aimed at making learning more fun.

A total of RM50,000 was spent to upgrade the classrooms and are targetted at Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) candidates, benefiting some 300 students.

The project aims to provide a more conducive and comfortable teaching and learning environment for students and teachers in the school.

Some of the school's infrastructures were also upgraded and repaired as part of the programme.
